Stephen A. Smith Suggests Crazy Dak Prescott Landing Spot
Dak Prescott's possible contract extension is one of the hottest topics around the league this offseason. Prescott is likely looking to lock in a huge payday after proving he's a top talent and coming off of a season-ending ankle injury.
But there's no guarantee the Cowboys and their star will reach an agreement. With that in mind, professional take artist Stephen A. Smith has a crazy suggestion to Prescott.
SAS believes that Prescott should at least consider heading to division rival the Washington Football Team. Smith says that Jerry Jones isn't treating the quarterback like the star he is by not locking up him on a contract that he deserves, while Dan Synder is known to fully support his QBs.
"If Dak Prescott wants out, and he wants to be in a situation where it's about appreciation and building around him, think about Ron Rivera, the head coach, and what he's doing, along with the other pieces I mentioned. It wouldn't be a bad place for him, I can tell you that."- Stephen A. Smith
If Prescott did somehow land with the WFT, there's no doubt he'd be treated like a king upon his arrival. And that would solve Washington's biggest question, instantly making them a contender with Prescott and a rising defense.
If Dallas decides to franchise tag Prescott again this offseason, it opens the door for him to depart in 2022. Should the Cowboys not want Smith's suggestion to come true, then they should jump at the chance to pay their QB.
