Ravens Get More Bad News Around Ronnie Stanley's Injury

The Baltimore Ravens suffered two major losses on Sunday. They were defeated by their biggest division rival at home in the Pittsburgh Steelers, but even more damaging was the loss of their All-Pro left tackle, Ronnie Stanley.
Stanley suffered a gruesome ankle injury during the game, ending his season just days after Baltimore made him the highest-paid offensive lineman in the league.
While it was immediately known the severe ankle injury would end his season, new details have surfaced that make things worse. It is now known on top of his fractured and dislocated ankle, the injury also came along with some torn ligaments, further complicating an already grueling road to recovery.
#Ravens All-Pro LT Ronnie Stanley, already declared out for the season, suffered a fractured and dislocated ankle that also likely includes torn ligaments, source said. He faces a long road to recovery, but should be back and ready by the 2021 season.

While it is still expected Stanley will be ready for the start of the 2021 season, this development surely adds further complications.
When you're talking about a player this great and an injury this serious you always have to be as cautious as possible. For now that means Stanley will be sidelined until at least next August – and if there are any hiccups in the road to recovery – even longer.
