Players to Drop for Week 15 Waiver Wire Pickups in Fantasy Football Playoffs

The fantasy football playoffs are here, and you can't afford to waste a single roster spot.
Every waiver wire pickup is crucial at this stage, and knowing how to make roster space for those adds is key.
Week 15 Fantasy Playoffs Waiver Wire
You don't want to cut ties with high-upside players, but you also don't want duds hanging around taking up valuable bench space.
Fantasy Football Players to Drop
With that in mind, here are three players, all rostered in at least 50 percent of Yahoo! fantasy football leagues, that you can drop to make space for Week 15 wavier wire pickups.
1. Courtland Sutton, WR, Denver Broncos
Remember last week when I said to drop Courtland Sutton? He did me a favor in Week 14 and made the argument even stronger now, matching his season-low in all of targets (2), receptions (1) and receiving yards (9). Since Jerry Jeudy returned to action in Week 8, Sutton ranks just sixth on the team with 20 targets. He's averaged just 4.3 PPR fantasy points per game in that six-game stretch. There's absolutely no reason for Sutton to be on any fantasy playoff rosters.
2. Ryan Tannehill, QB, Tennessee Titans
Ryan Tannehill has posted single-digit fantasy scores in two of his last three games, and he hasn't eclipsed 20 since Week 8. He ranks as just QB26 in fantasy points per game during this skid, coming in one spot behind Zach Wilson. Two of Tannehill's final three games of the season come against defenses limiting opposing QBs to below-average fantasy production, and starters at the position are easy enough to come by that you don't need to waste a roster spot on Tannehill.
3. Dontrell Hilliard, RB, Tennessee Titans
Despite looking like the Titans RB to roster briefly in Week 12, Dontrell Hilliard can go back on the waiver wire. He played just 34% of the Titans' offensive snaps in Week 14, getting just 6 carries and 2 targets. D'Onta Foreman continued to operate as the leader of the backfield, notching 13 carries plus 2 targets. Foreman has out-touched Hilliard in back-to-back games, and this offensive isn't explosive enough for the RB2 to offer any fantasy value.
