Nick Chubb's fantasy managers had their worst fears play out in Week 1. The third-year back ceded the majority of the work in the backfield to Kareem Hunt. And while Chubb still clearly looked like an elite talent, the presence of Hunt will likely cap his fantasy ceiling all season long.

Nick Chubb Fantasy Outlook

Chubb actually managed to out-snap Hunt, playing 51 percent of the snaps compared to Hunt's 46. But the former Kansas City Chief got the majority of the work, totaling 19 opportunities (targets plus carries) to Chubb's 11. Hunt was always going to have the edge as a pass-catcher, so the fact that he had an edge on the ground as well is extremely concerning.

To be fair, though, it was a blowout game. Cleveland was down 24-6 entering the second half, so it's tough to tell just how much stock to put into Kevin Stefanski's gameplan in Week 1.

Regardless, the contract extension solidified Hunt's role with the team, and it's clear that he's going to be a thorn in Chubb's side all season long. Chubb will need to regain control of the rushing volume in order to return RB1 value. We have Chubb all the way down at RB18 in PPR leagues in Week 2.
