The LSU Tigers have enjoyed their recent success, winning the 2020 College Football Playoff National Championship and being the clear best team in the nation this past season. The talent they were able to put on the field was dominant, and now much of that talent will be taking the next step into the NFL.

Tigers fans are expected to hear plenty of familiar names on the first day, with LSU projected for a program record of five first-round picks, beating their previous record of four that was set during the 2007 NFL Draft.

FanDuel Sportsbook has set the projected total of first-round picks from LSU at 5.5, but they would only need five selected to set a new school record. With the over having just +176 odds and the under being at -230, it is looking like five is the most likely outcome on draft day.

LSU Potential First-Round Draft Picks in 2020

The 2019 Heisman Trophy winner, Joe Burrow, is essentially locked in to be the first overall draft pick, but the talent from LSU does not drop off from there. Explosive edge rusher K'Lavon Chaisson is expected to go in the middle of the first round, and dominant wide receiver Justin Jefferson may not come long after.

Other projected first-round players from LSU includes linebacker Patrick Queen and safety Grant Delpit, with center Lloyd Cushenberry being viewed as a borderline first-round talent by some, if the right team is on the clock.
