The Raiders' inaugural season in Las Vegas was an underwhelming one. Opening the year with a 6-3 record, the team looked like a lock for a postseason berth in the AFC. But for the second straight season, the Raiders collapsed down the stretch, losing five of their last seven games.

The team finished just 8-8 on the season, missing the NFL Playoffs. And GM Mike Mayock pinpointed one segment of the team that needs to improve: the 2020 rookie class.

Specifically, Mayock name checked first-round picks Henry Ruggs III and Damon Arnette. While he was never overly critical of either player, and admitted injuries certainly played a role in their year, it's clear Mayock was expecting more from his first-round picks.

Despite being the first wideout picked in the class, Ruggs was massively outproduced by his peers. He tallied just 452 receiving yards while Justin Jefferson, who went 10 picks later, recoded a whopping 1,400 yards. Arnette, meanwhile, was limited to just 9 games and 7 starts.

As for the rest of the class, highly touted third-round pick Bryan Edwards didn't do much, tallying 193 receiving yards on the year. Fellow third-round pick Lynn Bowden was traded to the Miami Dolphins before playing a single game with the team.

Clearly, Mayock was right about this class' lack of production. He and the Raiders will need more production out of this group to make a run in 2021.
