LSU Opens as Enormous Home Favorite Over Mississippi State for Week 4 Season Opener
By David Hayes

The LSU Tigers have defeated the Mississippi State Bulldogs in 18 of their last 20 meetings, and it certainly looks like the oddsmakers believe that pattern of dominance is going to continue this year too.
Even with the 2020 college football offseason experiencing some unprecedented scheduling changes and cancellations, the odds and spreads for this week's upcoming slate of SEC season openers are now available on FanDuel Sportsbook.

LSU vs Mississippi State Odds 2020
Sitting less than one week away from the 114th all-time meeting between these two programs, LSU has already opened as a significant 16.5-point favorite to beat Mississippi State at home in Death Valley this weekend, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
The Tigers have dominated this series of late, winning four of the last six and 18 of the last 20 meetings with the Bulldogs. However, one of Mississippi State's only two wins over LSU of this century did come on the road in Baton Rouge, back when Dak Prescott led the Bulldogs to victory in 2014.
There's still plenty of time for the odds to shift between now and this Week 4 SEC kickoff, but the Tigers remain overwhelming early favorites for the time being. Barring any scheduling changes we may see, LSU is currently set to host Mississippi State at Tiger Stadium at 4 p.m. EST on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020.
