The Miami Dolphins put together one of their best all-around performances of the season in Week 12. They gave up just 10 points and 243 total yards of offense in a blowout win over the Carolina Panthers. Their defensive clinic was highlighted with an interception by rookie Jevon Holland, too.

Holland picked off opposing quarterback Cam Newton late in the first half for his second career interception. It was the first of Newton's two picks on the day as he struggled to get anything going on the offense. In fact, the former NFL MVP completed just 5 of his 21 pass attempts for 92 yards.

To add insult to injury, Holland then took to Instagram after the game to troll Newton with a gesture of appreciation. He held up the game ball in the photo and tagged Newton for all to see. It certainly looks like the players in the locker room are having a good time and it is starting to show out on the field.

The former Oregon standout has played a big role on this defense across Miami's four-game winning streak. Overall, Holland has racked up 46 tackles, 2.0 sacks, 7 pass breakups, 2 interceptions and 3 fumble recoveries across 12 games played (9 starts).

The Dolphins' playoff hopes remain just barely alive as they sit 1.5 games back of the Los Angeles Chargers for the final AFC Wild Card spot. Miami heads into a Week 13 matchup against the New York Giants as 3-point home favorites, according to FanDuel sportsbook.
