This 2021 NFL Draft class seems to be filled with defensive talent and that includes standout South Carolina cornerback Jaycee Horn. Horn spent three seasons with the Gamecocks (30 games played) and posted 101 tackles, 23 pass breakups, 2 interceptions and 2 forced fumbles in his career.

A number of NFL secondaries are in need of upgrades and adding Horn to the mix would benefit a lot of those teams. With that being said, here are three of the most likely landing spots for Horn.

Jaycee Horn Draft Projection

1. Dallas Cowboys (No. 10)

The Dallas Cowboys could go a number of different ways with this pick, but addressing their poor secondary by taking Horn could easily be one of them. Dallas gave up 11.1 yards per completion last season (Tied for 7th-most in NFL) and could use someone with above-average speed and coverage skills on the back end. Horn fits that to a tee and would create an interesting duo with second-year starting corner Trevon Diggs. Plus, he has the ball skills and consistency to make an impact in the NFL right away.

2. Philadelphia Eagles (No. 12)

Another NFC East team with a need in the secondary is the Philadelphia Eagles. They made headlines by trading for Darius Slay last offseason, but need someone physical and talented to line up opposite of him. Horn would make sense in this spot given his strength across different kinds of coverage and his willingness to tackle. His route recognition skills as well as his overall athleticism would be much appreciated in a defense looking to improve from last season. Don't be surprised if Philadelphia shakes things up and takes Horn here.

3. Arizona Cardinals (No. 16)

One team that may be flying under the radar when it comes to drafting a cornerback is the Arizona Cardinals. They just lost veteran Patrick Peterson to free agency and are suddenly shallow at the position. Horn prides himself on his man-to-man coverage skills and could slide into a starting role rather quickly here if he impresses during training camp. The Cardinals were on the edge of making the playoffs last season and bringing in Horn to upgrade this defense could be exactly what the team needs.
