Eddie Jackson Takes Emotional Stand in Bears Locker Room Following Loss
By Larry Rupp

There is not much going right for the Chicago Bears lately. They just dropped their fourth consecutive game in Week 10 and head into their bye week with 5-5 record on the season. Losing can have a negative effect on all parts of the game including morale, and that seems to be happening on the Bears sideline.
Safety Eddie Jackson took it upon himself to take an emotional stand in the locker room and try to get the team into a better mindset moving forward. As one of the leaders of the defense, Jackson knows what it takes to have success both on and off the field as he leads the team with 3 forced fumbles already this season.
Eddie Jackson spoke to the team after the game in the locker room and preached accountability. Encouraged players to "use their voice." Specifically mentioned players coming off the field holding their head down and no one saying anything to them to lift them up. #Bears

The Bears' defense is not the problem so far this season. They have held opponents to 340.1 yards (No. 10 in the NFL) and 20.9 points per game so far this season (No. 7 in the NFL). On the other hand, the offense has struggled all year posting just 300.9 yards (No. 31 in the NFL) and 19.1 points per game (No. 31 in the NFL).
If the Bears want to turn their season around, building hype and a new mindset in the locker room is a great place to start. They come out of their bye week with a pivotal matchup as they take on a divisional foe in the Green Bay Packers in Week 12 NFL action.
