After every messy NFL divorce, there's pretty much always an anonymous source that criticizes the player or coach that left the organization. And the Carson Wentz trade is certainly no exception.

After moving Wentz to the Indianapolis Colts, some anonymous sources in the Philadelphia Eagles' organization ripped the former No. 2 overall pick.

According to reports from Peter King, some members of the organization believed that Wentz couldn't handle hard coaching and was coddled during his final years with the team. This was backed up by the fact that he was constantly at odds with the team's former offensive coordinator Mike Groh, who was eventually fired.

Wentz's deteriorating relationship with former Eagles head coach Doug Pederson has been well documented at this point. But it seems like the organization's decision to draft Jalen Hurts played a big role in all of that.

Carrying a $25.4 million cap hit in 2021, the Colts can't afford to have this version of Wentz show up in Indianapolis. They'll have to hope a reunion with Frank Reich can get his career back on track.
