The Los Angeles Clippers have been one of the presumptive NBA favorites ever since landing Paul George and Kawhi Leonard back in July. While the Milwaukee Bucks' hot start has made Giannis Antetokounmpo's team the lone favorite to win the title, the Clippers aren't too far behind.
And now that they've traded for Marcus Morris, that gap has gotten a little smaller.
As of Jan. 16, Los Angeles was listed at +320 to win it all, but the Clippers are now available at +300, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
Morris is in the midst of arguably the best season of his career, so this looks like a pretty significant addition. The former New York Knick is averaging a career-high 19.6 points per game (PPG) while shooting 44.2 percent from the field and 43.9 percent from beyond the arc.
Adding that kind of production to a team that already checks in as the fifth-best scoring offense in the league could make the Clippers really dangerous come playoff time.
