The Denver Broncos will be looking to move to 2-0 on the season when they take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 2 NFL action. It looks like they could receive a boost along the defensive line as Bradley Chubb is "probably" going to make his 2021 season debut on Sunday afternoon.

Bradley Chubb Injury Update

Chubb was forced to miss Denver's season opener due to an ankle injury he suffered during practice in August. He has been a limited participant in practice this week and the decision to play him or not will likely be made shortly before kickoff. Everything is trending in the right direction, though.

Getting Chubb back would be a huge benefit for the Broncos' defense. When healthy, he makes up one half of a dangerous duo alongside All-Pro linebacker Von Miller. The 25-year-old is coming off his first Pro Bowl nod after racking up 42 tackles, 7.5 sacks and 1 forced fumble across 14 games played in 2020.

The Broncos are set to face a rookie quarterback in Trevor Lawrence in Week 2. He is in search of his first NFL win, but would have to pull off an upset in order to earn a victory. Denver is slated as a 5.5-point road favorite over Jacksonville, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

It's worth keeping an eye on Chubb's status as the 1 p.m. ET kickoff time moves closer. Hopefully the talented defensive end can get back to making stellar plays for this Denver squad.
