3 Best Deebo Samuel Prop Bets for 49ers vs Rams NFC Championship Game
By Max Staley

Deebo Samuel is the engine that makes the San Francisco 49ers' offense go. The team sputtered to a 3-5 record to open the year, but everything shifted in Week 10 once Samuel got involved in the rushing attack.
After seeing a combined 6 carries through the first eight weeks of the year, Samuel recorded at least 5 carries in each of his eight appearances the rest of the way. That change sparked a 7-2 finish for San Francisco, with one of those losses coming while Samuel was sidelined.
It's safe to say he'll play a big role in the NFC Championship Game as well. If you're looking to wager on the third-year wideout, here are three of the best Samuel-themed prop bets available on FanDuel Sportsbook.
Deebo Samuel Prop Bets
3. Deebo Samuel - Receptions: Under 4.5 (-146)
Is this counterintuitive? Absolutely. But there's a very real chance you can middle by hitting the under on Deebo's reception total and the over on the next two props. While he's remained remarkably efficient, Samuel's usage as a receiver has really taken a dip in the second half. He's turned 4.7 targets into 3.4 receptions per game across his last 10, failing to reach at least 5 receptions in eight of those 10 outings. And he's only seen 5 targets in half of those. This a solid opportunity to middle or hedge the next two props.
2. Deebo Samuel - Receiving Yards: Over 51.5 (-114)
This total almost feels suspiciously low. Sure, Deebo's role as a receiver has shrunk since his rushing usage increased. But don't overthink this one. That shift came in Week 10, and Deebo still averaged 65.4 receiving yards per outing through the final game of the regular season. He has also put up at least 66 receiving yards in four straight games against the Rams, averaging 97.8 per outing. That includes performances of 95 receiving yards just three weeks ago, and 97 receiving yards back in Week 10. The low volume could be a concern, but Deebo doesn't need much volume to reach 52 yards. He finished with a league-high 9 receptions for 40-plus yards, and his 18.2 yards per reception was the best such mark in the league. He's more than capable of clearing this on one or two chunk plays.
1. Deebo Samuel Rushing + Receiving Yards: Over 97.5 (-114)
In Samuel's 10 appearances since that fateful Week 10 game, he's averaged a whopping 105.9 yards from scrimmage per game. The third-year wideout has also surpassed this mark in two of his last three games, and, as mentioned above, he's been particularly dominant against the Rams. In two games against LA this year, Samuel is averaging 136.5 yards from scrimmage. Aaron Donald once famously claimed not to know who Deebo Samuel is, but you can bet he'll know his name once the dust settles on Sunday.
