The 2021 NFL season is just around the corner with teams reporting to training camp. At this point, just a few highlights remain before the official kick-off of the 2021 NFL season.

Of course, that includes NFL Preseason football. Football fans across America and the world are clamoring in anticipation for preseason football.

When Does Preseason Football Start?

Preseason football is scheduled to kick off on Thursday, August 5. This official start of the NFL Preseason ends a six-month absence of football action.

When Does NFL Season Start 2021?

First up on the NFL Preseason schedule is the annual Hall of Fame Game, which is scheduled for Aug. 5. This matchup features the Pittsburgh Steelers and Dallas Cowboys, who will meet at Tom Benson Stadium in Canton, Ohio.

NFL Preseason

The rest of the 2021 NFL Preseason rattles throughout the month of August. Both Pittsburgh and Dallas are scheduled for four preseason games while the remaining 30 NFL teams will each play three.

Week 2 of the NFL Preseason is scheduled to begin on Thursday, August 12. This includes a pair of games between the Washington Football Team vs New England Patriots and Steelers vs Philadelphia Eagles.

The rest of Week 2 Preseason NFL action continues on from Thursday, Aug. 12 - Sunday, Aug. 15. Week 3 of the NFL Preseason runs from Thursday, Aug. 19 - Monday, Aug. 23. Finally, the Week 4 action takes place from Friday, Aug. 27 - Sunday, Aug. 29.
