Both fantasy managers and Green Bay Packers' fans alike have been waiting patiently all week to hear the verdict on on their star running back Aaron Jones' availability for this Sunday's game against their NFC North divisional rival Minnesota Vikings.

Unfortunately, all of that waiting came to an end this Friday with a tough answer: Jones has been ruled out for Sunday's game and will not be available.

Jones was enjoying another bountiful year of production, with 389 rushing yards and five touchdowns on the ground, before missing last week's matchup with the Houston Texans due to a mild calf strain that has kept him out of practice in Green Bay this week as well.

The Packers have already opened as 6.5-point home favorites over the Vikings, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, as they look ahead to Sunday's matchup against a struggling Minnesota team.
