NL MVP Odds: Jacob deGrom Favored Over Fernando Tatis and Ronald Acuna Jr.

As the 2021 MLB season continues to roll on, so does New York Mets right-handed starter Jacob deGrom's dominant campaign. He's currently 6-2 through 10 starts on the year while recording a mind-blowing 0.56 ERA. The two-time National League Cy Young winner also has 103 strikeouts in 64.0 innings pitched.
deGrom's efforts this season have transformed into the favorite to win the 2021 NL Most Valuable Player Award. Last week, he had +650 odds of winning, but now FanDuel Sportsbook is favoring him at +200. These new odds have deGrom leapfrogging over both Fernando Tatis (+250) and Ronald Acuna Jr. (+400).
Tatis has lived up to his $340 million contract so far, smashing 19 home runs on the season so far while recording 44 RBI. He's also slashing .279/.354/.654 and leads the National League with 13 stolen bases. Meanwhile, Acuna is having his own impressive campaign. The 23-year-old outfielder has 18 homers and 39 RBI on the season with a .282/.390/.597 slash line.
