Lions Get Tough News on D'Andre Swift, Kenny Golladay and Danny Amendola Ahead of Week 11 Matchup

After practicing earlier in the week in full, D'Andre Swift all of a sudden was ruled out with a head injury. Now, a day later, he is of officially out for the Detroit Lions' Week 11 game against the Carolina Panthers.

The Lions rookie back was just hitting his stride, putting up at least 97 total yards in back-to-back games. After finally being handed the starting role, Swift heads to the injured list unexpectedly.
In his absence, Adrain Peterson will probably assume the starting role again, splitting carries in some form with Kerryon Johnson. Luckily, the Panthers have struggled to defend the run this season.
Additionally, the Lions have also ruled out Kenny Golladay and Danny Amendola as well. Making their offensive unit quite thin against Carolina.

While Marvin Jones Jr. is also questionable to play Sunday, he looks to be on track to play. If Amendola and Golladay are indeed out, look for Jones and T.J. Hockenson to be the main pass-catchers in a crucial week 11 game for Detroit.
The Lions are currently 2.5-point road favorites against the Panthers, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
