Baltimore Ravens star quarterback Lamar Jackson has been ruled out for Sunday's Week 18 game, and he has been out with a PCL injury since Week 13. Recovery seemingly hasn't been moving along as quickly as the Ravens had hoped or originally thought.

Lamar Jackson Injury Update

Despite not practicing in over a month, though, ESPN insider Adam Schefter is reporting that Jackson has a "strong chance" to play in the opening round of the playoffs.

Set to play in an opening round Wild Card game, the Ravens' first-round opponent has yet to be confirmed.

Jackson is in the final year of his contract and failed to work out a long-term extension with the team prior to the season. He took a page out of Aaron Judge's playbook and decoded to bet on himself this year. And let's just say, it is not working out anything like it did for Judge.

Even if Jackson and the Ravens can't work out a long-term deal, Baltimore will surely franchise tag their QB.

The Ravens are currently 9.5-point road underdogs against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 18, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's latest NFL odds.
