While the New York Jets may hold a solid 7-6 record and have outperformed preseason expectations to this point, they've been a mess at quarterback over the recent weeks. The drama started with Zach Wilson's curiously-timed benching, the emergence of Mike White as a stud in Week 12, his crash back to reality, and now an untimely injury.
On Friday, Jets head coach Robert Saleh provided the latest update on White's rib injury and announced another major change at the quarterback position.
New York Jets News
Wilson will be back under center for the Jets in Week 15 when they take on the Detroit Lions. Saleh informed the press that White is not healthy enough to go, so it's back to the original franchise QB.
What a whirlwind for Jets fans, who have seen their team hit a bumpy part of the season since Wilson's initial demotion. New York is just 1-2 in that span and enters Week 15 as underdogs at home.
FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds show the Jets as 1.5-point home underdogs against the Lions. Whether New York can escape with a win or not is unclear. Will a win propel Wilson back into good graces with Saleh and his staff? Or will the team turn back to White as soon as he's healthy?
