One of this week's biggest storylines for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is the health of wideout Mike Evans head of Saturday's Wild Card matchup against the Washington Football Team.
Mike Evans Injury Update
Evans tested out his injured knee at practice on Thursday, and reports are that he looked good. This gives him a great chance of suiting up on Saturday.
Evans hurt his knee early in Week 17 while eclipsing 1,000 receiving yards for the seventh straight year, and reports were that he would not have practiced yesterday if it were anything more than a walkthrough.
Evans is as tough as they come, however, and head coach Bruce Arians and teammate Chris Godwin both have said they suspect that he'll be suiting up against Washington.
This is great news for the Bucs, as Evans leads the team in all of targets (109), receptions (70), receiving yards (1,006) and receiving touchdowns (13) on the season.
FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds have the Bucs as heavy 8.5-point favorites against Washington.
