Major Shakeup in NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Odds
By Zach Brunner

The biggest headline from NFL Week 11 was the devastating knee injury to rookie quarterback Joe Burrow, which now clouds his status for the start of next season. Not only does his injury crush the fantasy value of his Cincinnati Bengals teammates, but it also means there is a major shakeup in the NFL Rookie of the Year odds.
Burrow was sitting second, just behind Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert. Now, Herbert has taken a dominating lead in the odds, as the -900 favorite to win, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's betting odds.
Justin Herbert is on pace to be the best rookie QB in NFL history:

Herbert’s 2020 Pace:
397 Completions
4,498 Pass Yds

While his 2-7 record as a starter is less than impressive, the losses for the Chargers have not been because of Herbert. He is averaging 299.9 yards passing per game, throwing for 22 touchdowns to six interceptions in nine games. He also has a 68 percent completion rate, which is tremendous for a rookie.
Now second in the odds is Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson (+900), who has 848 yards through 10 games. Rounding out the top five in the odds are Tua Tagovailoa (+1000), Chase Claypool (+1700), and Clyde Edwards-Helaire (+3000).
