Keelan Cole Fantasy Outlook on the Rise as Potential Sleeper With Big Preseason Usage
The New York Jets' offense is an incredibly tough one to project heading into 2021. There are new faces at all of the skill positions, and the change in coaching and personnel mean the old guard (like Jamison Crowder) are far from guaranteed to keep their usual roles.
The Jets' first preseason game with Zach Wilson at the helm may have given us some clues about what the season ahead will look like, and these early signs are pointing in the right direction for Keelan Cole to offer some sleeper value in fantasy football.

There are some obvious caveats here. It was a 22-snap sample, Elijah Moore was out, and Cole saw only 1 target.
But still, playing 95% of the available snaps alongside Wilson is a very encouraging sign that Cole is in the Jets' plans this season. A team likely to be trailing as much as the Jets will probably be forced to pass a ton, and that means volume alone gives the first-team receivers some potential fantasy upside.
It's still too early to count Cole as a worthwhile pick in any but the deepest fantasy football leagues, yet it will certainly be worth keeping a very close eye on his usage with the first-team offense through the remainder of the preseason.
