Cowboys Get Great Amari Cooper Injury Update
By Larry Rupp

The Dallas Cowboys are the favorites to win the NFC East division this season, but they need wide receiver Amari Cooper healthy in order to achieve that goal. Fortunately, Cooper's latest injury update comes with good news as the Cowboys activated him from the physically unable to perform (PUP) list.
Amari Cooper was activated from the physically unable to perform list. Cooper had offseason ankle surgery and last week said he was close to 100%. The Cowboys have just 1 full practice in Oxnard and Cooper is expected to ramp up his on-field work when the team return to The Star.

Amari Cooper Injury Update
Cooper passed his physical on Tuesday morning and is set to join the team during training camp for the first time this offseason. The seven-year WR has been working tirelessly to get back on the field ever since undergoing surgery to fix an ankle issue back in January.
While Cooper isn't expected to practice in a full capacity right away, this is still great news for the Cowboys. He will take on individual drills and walkthroughs before ramping up his workload when he feels completely ready to go. All signs point to Cooper being 100% healthy for Week 1 kickoff.
The 27-year-old is coming off a dominating 2020 season in which he racked up 1,114 receiving yards and 5 touchdowns on 92 receptions. Cooper has solidified his role as the No. 1 WR on this offense and will look to have an even bigger year given the return of starting quarterback Dak Prescott.
Having the four-time Pro Bowler back on the field will surely help unleash what this Cowboys' offense is truly capable of. Dallas currently has odds set at -156 to make the playoffs this season and odds set at +3000 to win the Super Bowl, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
