The Pittsburgh Steelers faced little trouble in securing a win against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, dominating their way to a 27-3 victory and keeping their undefeated record intact. However, starting wide receiver Juju Smith-Schuster was forced to leave the game with an ankle injury after stepping on a penalty flag and did not return, leaving his status for Thursday's game uncertain.

A new angle of the incident does not seem to carry positive news regarding Smith's injury.

It's clear that Juju will be in a world of hurt after tweaking his ankle in such an awkward fashion. With a short week, given the Steelers' matchup against the Baltimore Ravens on Thanksgiving, it's possible that the receiver would be better off fully recovering from the injury rather than suiting up and risking something more serious.

Smith-Schuster has enjoyed another productive season at wideout, turning 75 targets into 58 receptions and 535 yards. He ranks second on the team in touchdown grabs (5) behind standout Chase Claypool (8).

Pittsburgh faces a tricky situation with the receiver's injury. His absence would subtract an offensive weapon ahead of the team's important game against Baltimore. But with the team owning the NFL's only undefeated record at 10-0 and eyeing a Super Bowl appearance, Juju's health will likely be prioritized if he's not 100 percent by Thursday.
