A loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday handed the New Orleans Saints their fifth straight loss. Quarterback Taysom Hill, who made his first start of the year, didn't hold back when assessing the loss.

Hill told reporters after the game that "it's tough to win a game when you turn the ball over four times" and that the experience was "frustrating."

Hill added that Thursday's loss was like nothing he's ever experienced before during his tenure as a Saint. Even though New Orleans did do some things right, the veteran QB said that it's the turnovers that stand out the most.

"... as you look at the stats, you look at what we did, [turnovers are] obviously the thing that jumps out to you, that's disappointing. "

Unfortunately for Hill, each of the turnovers came at his hands as he ended the night with four interceptions. The most costly one was a 29-yard pick 6 that he threw late in the fourth quarter.

It certainly doesn't help that Hill was dealing with an injured finger during the first half, which impacted his throwing abilities. He finished the night with just 264 passing yards, meaning the Saints still haven't hit the 300-yard mark during the 2021 NFL season.

The important thing is that Hill took full responsibility for the loss and now has 10 days to get his head right before New Orleans faces the New York Jets on Dec. 12.
