Stefon Diggs Fantasy Outlook Sky-High After Career-Year in 2020

The 2020 NFL season was one to remember for Stefon Diggs in his first year with the Buffalo Bills. We all know the story, Diggs left for Buffalo with the hopes of emerging as a superstar wideout. That's exactly what happened after Diggs went for a career year, leading the NFL in targets (166), receptions (127) and receiving yards (1,535).

Thanks to the career-year, Fantasy Pros is listing Diggs' fantasy outlook as high as ever, ranking him as WR3 with an average draft position (ADP) of 3.0.

While Diggs is listed as WR3, there's certainly an opportunity for him to finish as the NFL's top wideout again in 2021. Buffalo finished as the third-best passing attack in the league last season with 4,620 yards through the air. Keep in mind, that happened on 596 total attempts, which ranked just outside the top-10 (11th).

This offseason, the Bills signed veteran wideout Emmanuel Sanders to help take some pressure off of Diggs. Still, with all the success that Buffalo saw through the air in 2020, there's no reason not to go back to the well on that one.

Sanders shouldn't take away from Diggs' targets or importance as Buffalo's superstar wideout. If anything, another wideout threat should give the Bills some more opportunities to find Diggs in space.

Last year, the 27-year-old former Maryland Terrapin caught a career-best 76.5 percent of his passes. Josh Allen's got another year of experience reading opposing defenses in the league and there's no reason Diggs' catch percentage should reach another career-mark this year.
