Raiders Projected to Land Exciting Playmaker in Free Agency

The Las Vegas Raiders rode a four-game winning streak right into the postseason, but the team will look to improve upon an early playoff exit with smart free-agent decisions.
Free Agency Predictions
NFL.com gave a prediction for each team a free agent could be matched with this offseason, and the Raiders are projected to add an exciting playmaker in the form of Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup.

Raiders Free Agenct Rumors
The Raiders' wide receiver corps left a lot to be desired outside of Hunter Renfrow, who is seen as a premier route-runner and dynamic option in the slot. Renfrow was the only WR on Las Vegas' roster to record 50+ receptions and 600+ receiving yards.
Henry Ruggs III did miss 10 games with injury, but adding a third weapon for quarterback Derek Carr is a smart decision moving forward. There's been plenty of rumors around a potential Fresno State reunion between Davante Adams and Carr, but the Green Bay Packers are likely keeping him around on the franchise tag.
Gallup is an intriguing option given his torn ACL injury last season, but he's still recorded 52.8 yards per game throughout his career, including two campaigns with 800 or more receiving yards.
NFL.com calls this signing a bit of a "diamond in the rough" situation. Considering the Raiders have just $20.5 million in cap space, that's a smart approach to adding a plethora of talent instead of going all in one one or two stars.
