John Oliver Has Funny Rant About Fans in Philadelphia

Over the years Philadelphia sports fans have developed somewhat of a reputation, and not exactly a good one. From throwing snowballs at Santa to infamously having a jail cell under the old Veterans Stadium, many could argue the reputation is warranted.

However, that doesn't mean Philly sports fans won't be upset when they hear how John Oliver described them in his latest episode of Last Week Tonight on HBO, where he did an entire segment of the effect the Coronavirus has had on the sports world.

Fast forward to roughly the 3:15 mark to hear the specific part referenced.

On the other hand though, some Philadelphians have learned to wear their bad reputation as a badge of honor. Although, it seems even if Philly fans don't agree with his assessment, pretty much everyone else's opinion falls somewhere along those lines.
