FanDuel Officially Launches DFS in Arizona

While many states are focused on legalized sports betting, some were still working toward the legalization of daily fantasy sports (DFS) as well. Previously not available in Arizona, an expansive gaming bill including DFS and sports betting was approved earlier this year in the Grand Canyon State.

FanDuel in Arizona

FanDuel is one of the operators that was granted a license within Arizona, and while FanDuel Sportsbook is set to go live on September 9, FanDuel DFS is live Saturday, August 28.

Arizona becomes the 44th state where DFS is now available. With its launch the people of Arizona will be able to join much of the rest of the country in setting a specific lineup for one week, one day or one game of the NFL slate each week, along with a large list of other sports.

FanDuel now even offers a litany of season-long fantasy contests, survivor pools and other fun fantasy-style games to keep the entire year of a the sports calendar that much more interesting.
