Andrew Benintendi Departs Early From Royals Game With Concerning Injury

In his first year with the Kansas City Royals, outfielder Andrew Benintendi has performed at a high level all year long. Unfortunately, the young outfielder went down with a concerning leg injury on Tuesday night.
Benintendi was removed from Tuesday night's win over the Cleveland Indians after fouling a ball off his right knee. He was replaced by Hanser Alberto in the 8th inning and Royals fans are hopeful that this injury turns out to be a minor situation.
