Throughout the offseason, there have been rumors that the Philadelphia Eagles could be looking to move TE Zach Ertz. However, little traction has been made as he remains on the team.

Ertz has spent the entirety of his eight NFL seasons with the Eagles. During his tenure, he's made 561 receptions for 6,078 yards and 36 touchdowns. He's also a three-time Pro-Bowler and helped the Eagles win Super Bowl LII. For anyone that's interested in acquiring him, Ertz has a $12.7 cap hit in 2021, according to Spotrac.

Keeping that in mind, here's a look at three teams Ertz could wind up with if he does eventually get traded.

Zach Ertz Trade Rumors

3. Houston Texans

As it stands, the top tight end on the Houston Texans' depth chart is Jordan Akins, who registered 403 receiving yards and a touchdown with the team last season. If the Texans want to get back into the playoff picture, they'll need a better option at the position. Ertz could be their solution. Assuming QB Deshaun Watson plays this season despite his troubling legal issues, the Eagles tight end could quickly become one of his favorite targets.

2. Atlanta Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons have the No. 4 pick in the upcoming draft and several experts are leaning towards them drafting Florida Gators TE Kyle Pitts. However, there's also the possibility that the Falcons could trade the pick and move back in the draft. If that happens and they still want a tight end, they could go after Ertz. He would fit in perfectly into an Atlanta offense that ran the most multiple tight end sets in the league last season.

1. Indianapolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts love their tight end ends and they'd certainly love to have Zach Ertz on their roster. The team already has former Eagles QB Carson Wentz starting for them this season, so he's already established a relationship with the tight end. Head coach Frank Reich was also Ertz's offensive coordinator on the Eagles in 2017 when they won the Super Bowl, so there's some familiarity there, too.
