The Philadelphia Eagles will aim to earn their first home victory of the season when they host the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 9 NFL action. FanDuel Sportsbook has the Chargers slated as slight 1.5-point favorites in what is one of the closest spreads on the schedule.

If you need some help with your fantasy lineups, here's some start 'em, sit 'em advice for this Week 9 showdown.

Austin Ekeler Fantasy

Start Austin Ekeler, RB, Los Angeles Chargers: Running back Austin Ekeler bounced back in a major way in Week 8 racking up 124 total yards and 1 touchdown on 17 touches. He remains the focal point of this Chargers' offense and now gets to face a weak Philadelphia run defense. The Eagles are giving up the second-most PPR fantasy points to opposing RBs as well as 123.5 rushing yards per game (No. 24 in NFL). Ekeler is averaging an impressive 5.0 yards per carry this season and should have no trouble dicing this defense. With an over/under set at 50 total points, look for Ekeler to get in the end zone in a shootout and finish the day with RB1 numbers.

Dallas Goedert Fantasy

Start Dallas Goedert, TE, Philadelphia Eagles: The Eagles passing attack has been up-and-down this season, but tight end Dallas Goedert has made the most out of his opportunity. Since veteran Zach Ertz was traded away two weeks ago, Goedert has played in 81% of the offensive snaps. He has hauled in 9 of his 12 targets for 142 yards during that span and has looked like the best receiving option on the offense. The Chargers have failed to cover opposing TEs all season long and are giving up the sixth-most PPR fantasy points to the position, including 5 touchdowns. Start Goedert with confidence in Week 9.

Mike Williams Fantasy

Sit Mike Williams, WR, Los Angeles Chargers: Wide receiver Mike Williams has come crashing back down to earth over the last few weeks following his blazing hot start to the season. The 27-year-old has racked up just 46 yards on 4 receptions (10 targets) over his last two games played. Week 9 doesn't line up to be a big game for Williams given the Eagles are giving up the third-fewest PPR fantasy points to opposing WRs. The game plan here suggests that the Chargers will have to lean on the rushing attack if they want to leave Philadelphia with a win. That doesn't bode well for Williams and makes him a sit candidate this week.

Quez Watkins Fantasy

Sit Quez Watkins, WR, Philadelphia Eagles: The injury to starter Jalen Reagor is likely going to lead to increased snaps for wide receiver Quez Watkins. That doesn't mean he is worth a start in fantasy football, though. Watkins is the perfect definition of a boom-or-bust player as his big games are usually founded on deep passing plays and nothing else. The second-year pro has yet to score a touchdown this season and goes up against a Chargers' team on Sunday that has posted the fourth-best pass defense DVOA rating in the NFL. The Chargers have also given up the second-fewest PPR fantasy points to opposing wideouts. Watkins is nothing more than a speculative add right now.
