Not a lot has gone right for the Colorado Rockies this season, and such was the case on Monday night against the San Diego Padres. San Diego jumped out to a 3-0 lead by the first inning and was in the driver's seat the rest of the night.

Still, even down 6-0 in the bottom of the sixth, Rockies infielder Josh Fuentes wasn't going to give up when a foul ball looked like a potential out. However, he met some tough resistance on the warning track.

Fuentes tried to track the foul into the stands and possibly make a play in the stands. Then he hit the infield wall and that was the end of that.

It's good news that Fuentes wasn't injured in any kind of way after the collison. He simply got up with a smile on his face after eating dirt, although his ego may still be bruised.

Fuetnes and the Rockies will look to rally in game two of this three-game series on Tuesday.
