VIDEO: Gardner Minshew Has Hilarious Response to Learning His Madden Rating
By Max Staley

Jacksonville Jaguars' rookie quarterback Gardner Minshew II has become a walking meme during his meteoric rise to fame this season. But don't let the frequent Uncle Rico comparisons or eccentric post-game stretching routines fool you – Minshew is a baller.
Unfortunately, his EA Sports' "Madden 20" player rating hasn't exactly reflected his impressive start to the 2019 season, as he's currently rated just a 69 overall in the game. Minshew heard about this while playing Madden on a Twitch stream for EA Sports, and his response would likely make Rob Gronkowski shed a tear of joy.

That's right, Minshew blurted out a time-honored tradition when he heard the number with a simple, "Nice."
Minshew's play has been much better than 'nice' this season though, as he's thrown 13 touchdowns with just two interceptions, and currently sports the third-best odds (+500) to win the NFL's 2019 Offensive Rookie of the Year Award, per FanDuel Sportsbook.

Minshew's 69 overall Madden rating is likely the number anyone who regularly sports his combination of jean shorts, aviators and mustache would get a kick out of seeing. But they should enjoy it while it lasts, because if Minshew keeps playing this well, he won't be a 69 overall for too much longer.
