While the San Francisco 49ers' quarterback depth chart may still be up in the air, there's a lot of confidence stemming around the wide receiver corps. Between Deebo Samuel and second-year wideout Brandon Aiyuk, the 49ers boast a pair of dynamic playmakers in their receiving corps.

That was evident during the 49ers' joint practice with the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday. Check out video below of Aiyuk putting a Chargers' defender on skates during a 1-on-1 drill.

The second-year wideout fires out of the gates in this drill, already creating about a half-yard of separation. The best comes about 13 yards into his route, where Aiyuk puts together a dashing cut back that completely fools the defender. While the defender continues on about five yards down the field, Ayiuk has already cut back five yards the other way and is wide open for a reception.

The route is a thing of beauty. Certainly, 49ers fans are hopeful there's more of this coming in the 2021 NFL season. Ayiuk enjoyed a breakout campaign during his rookie season, leading the entire roster in targets (96), receptions (60), receiving yards (748) and touchdowns (5). Much of this volume came with Samuel missing nine games due to injury.

With a healthy Jimmy Garoppolo (or Trey Lance) under center and a pair of dynamic wide receivers, the 49ers will look to improve upon a disappointing 6-10 campaign in 2020. Currently, San Francisco owns +1400 odds to win Super Bowl 56, which ranks as the fifth-best odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.
