Tyler Higbee Fantasy Outlook Solidified as Rams' Clear-Cut TE1
By Max Staley

Tyler Higbee was outrageously productive down the stretch in 2019. He averaged 104.4 receiving yards per game over his final five games of the year, finishing as fantasy's TE1 during that stretch. That production never looked sustainable, though, especially since Higbee wasn't even a lock to serve as the TE 1 on his own team, as that role was often occupied by Gerald Everett last year.
Thankfully for Higbee's fantasy managers, though, it appears as if he's firmly in control of the team's starting tight end position.
90% snap share for Tyler Higbee. The boxscore wasn't great for the Rams' pass catchers aside of Woods, but Higbee is still playing his late 2019 role. Good sign.

Tyler Higbee Fantasy Outlook
Higbee played 70 snaps to just 27 for Everett. That all but solidifies Higbee's status as the team's starting tight end. For reference, Everett played more than 27 snaps in each of his first nine games last year.
Unfortunately for those who started Higbee, he didn't exactly do much. He only caught 3 passes for 40 yards, but that did tie him with Cooper Kupp for the second most on the team.
Having seemingly solidified his role with the team, there should be better days ahead of Higbee. He's safe to fire up as a mid-to-low-end TE1 going forward.
