Titans and Star Player Have Mutual Interest Ahead of Free Agency

The Tennessee Titans need to improve their offense if they're to keep up in the high-powered AFC. The lack of receiving help alongside A.J. Brown hurt this team in 2021, so that should be a focus area as the Titans look to capitalize on their window for Super Bowl contention.
Titans Rumors
Recent rumors thankfully suggest Tennessee is aiming to make a splash with a playmaking addition in free agency.
I’m hearing there is serious mutual interest between the #Titans and Rob Gronkowski. If he decides to play in 2022, Nashville will be an option.

Rob Gronkowski Titans
There is reportedly "serious mutual interest" between the Titans and star tight end Rob Gronkowski. That'd be a huge grab for Tennessee in free agency after its TE options underwhelmed this past season following the departure of Jonnu Smith.
Gronkowski was one of the best at his position in 2021 with a bounce-back campaign. He posted 55 receptions, 802 yards and 6 TDs in just 12 games, showcasing the impact he can still make when he's healthy.
Injuries are obviously a concern for the 32-year-old who's been banged up in recent years, but his production is undeniable. Gronk's 802 receiving yards would've ranked second on the Titans in 2021, and they were more than the team's three TEs -- Anthony Firkser (291), Geoff Swaim (210) and MyCole Pruitt (145) -- combined for last season.
The idea of adding a playmaker in the middle of the field is incredibly attractive as Tennessee looks to keep pace with the pass-happy offenses across the conference.
