Myles Garrett had an up-and-down season in 2019. While he was great from a football perspective, his incident with Mason Rudolph will always leave somewhat of a stain on his 2019 campaign as we look back on it, regardless of who you think was right or wrong in that situation.

While its undeniable Garrett is one of the NFL's best pass rushers, where exactly does he rank? Well, if you look at it through the lens if this important pass-rushing stat, Garrett looks to be the best the league has to offer, or at least the most disruptive.

In 2019, Garrett registered pressure on the QB on 17.1 percent of his dropbacks in 2019, which was the best such mark in the NFL and it was the highest number put up by a player since the 2016 season.

Creating QB pressure is the name of the game for pass rushers. Of course, you would love to turn every play into a sack, but that's not realistic, creating pressure and discomfort is a more realistic goal on a play-to-play basis.

Garrett is entering the final year of his rookie contract, and he is sure to command a dollar figure in line with the highest-paid defensive ends ever. And if you go by this stat, he deserves every penny.
