With Kyler Murray now throwing passes to DeAndre Hopkins, there's plenty of reason for optimism in Arizona. That said, the offense still has plenty of room for improvement – particularly on the offensive line.

It cost the team a second-round pick to acquire Hopkins, but Arizona is somehow still armed with the No. 8 selection in the 2020 NFL Draft. If the offense is really looking to make a leap, the Cardinals need to pick a talent like Mekhi Becton with their first selection.

Last season, the Cardinals graded out as the league's ninth-worst run blocking unit, according to Pro Football Focus. Despite that inefficiency upfront, the team still graded out as the league's second-best rushing attack, according to Football Outsiders' DVOA metrics.

A lot of that is likely due to the innovative schemes drawn up by Kliff Kingsbury, but coaching can only create so much. It'll be hard to repeat that performance without some substantial upgrades. There's an obvious hole at right tackle, with Justin Murray receiving a 62.9 grade from PFF.

Becton might not be the most polished prospect, but he's an absolute mauler who is capable of dominating in the run game. Despite weighing 361 pounds, Becton managed to run a 5.1-second 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine. That's flat-out ridiculous.

Besides the fact that Becton would be remaining a Cardinal in his transition from college to the pros if selected by Arizona, he's a high-upside prospect and fills an area of need for the team. If he's still on the board at No. 8, the Cardinals should rush to the podium to select Becton.
