For the first time in months, football fans got their first chance to watch live football action with the NFL's annual Hall of Fame Game on Thursday night. While the game featured a ton of backups, second-year wideout Chase Claypool was one Pittsburgh Steelers starter that fans saw a lot of.

And, he did not disappoint. Claypool dazzled while catching three passes for 62 yards, including a 45-yard reception from quarterback Mason Rudolph. Unfortunately, injuries are a natural part of the world's most grueling sport returning to full speed.

Claypool was seen by Steelers trainers after landing on the ball with a reception. He was also immediately removed from the game and gave Pittsburgh fans quite the injury scare.

Chase Claypool Injury Update

The good news - Claypool will be just fine. Head coach Mike Tomlin provided an update following the contest and revealed that his second-year wideout is ok and was removed for precautionary reasons.

Pittsburgh will look for another breakout campaign from the young wideout. During his rookie campaign, Claypool finished with 873 receiving yards and 11 combined touchdowns.

Currently, the Steelers have longshot odds to win Super Bowl 56 with their odds set at +4400 on FanDuel Sportsbook. Another breakout performance from Claypool could go a long way in helping shift those odds.
