The Baltimore Ravens are getting young star running back J.K. Dobbins back this season, but they may choose to bring him on slow as he gets used to full game speed again.

Yes, they have veterans Mike Davis and Justice Hill behind him on the depth chart, but that's not stopping them from bringing in another veteran back.

Baltimore will be signing Kenyan Drake, after he was recently released by the Las Vegas Raiders. Drake has bounced around throughout the last three years, but has certainly had times when he's been an effective back, especially in a complimentary role.

Drake's best season came in 2019 when he garnered 817 rushing yards and 8 touchdowns in just 14 games for the Miami Dolphins and Arizona Cardinals.

While he was used sparingly and fairly ineffective last season for the Raiders, having just 254 rushing yards in 12 games, Baltimore is hoping they can make him useful within their effective run-powered offense.

It remains to be seen how much usage Drake will get, or if he's merely a depth signing for a backfield with an injury history, but they could do far worse from a talent standpoint than the 28-year-old former Alabama standout.
