Ravens Get Encouraging News on Lamar Jackson Injury Update

The Baltimore Ravens saw their season come crashing down after an 8-3 start, before six straight losses forced them to miss the playoffs for the first time since 2017. Quarterback Lamar Jackson's nagging ankle injury and absence from the team's final four games was at the center of this downfall.
The Ravens received some encouraging news around Jackson's ankle and offseason injury rehab on Tuesday.

Lamar Jackson Injury Update
Jackson shared a video on Instagram of him throwing routes to receivers Rashod Bateman and James Proche. This is the first evidence of Jackson beginning to throw since the ankle injury initially shut him down.
The dynamic dual-threat QB was off to another terrific start in 2021, passing for 2,882 yards and16 TDs while adding two more scores and 767 yards on the ground through 12 games. He's in line for a contract extension with his current deal expiring in 2023, and there's little doubt that the Ravens want to lock up their most prized possession for the foreseeable future.
Baltimore currently holds +2000 odds (T-7th) to win Super Bowl 57 next season on FanDuel Sportsbook.
