Raiders Offensive Coordinator Reveals Projected Role for Henry Ruggs III
By Max Staley

The Las Vegas Raiders quietly added a ton of talent to their skill-position group this offseason. Jon Gruden spent the No. 12 overall pick in the NFL Draft on Henry Ruggs III, and he also picked up Bryan Edwards in Round 3.
With Hunter Renfrow and Tyrell Williams still projected for sizable roles, there has been some speculation about what Ruggs' role will be in year one. Thankfully, Las Vegas' offensive coordinator Greg Olson shed some light on that.

In somewhat of a surprising move, the team plans to use Ruggs out of the slot. Ruggs' blazing 4.27 time in the 40-yard dash always made him seem like more of an outside threat, but putting someone that fast in the slot should cause matchup nightmares for the opponent.
But this news isn't particularly good for Renfrow, who played 66.8 percent of his snaps out of the slot last season. Olson did say he plans to move Ruggs around the lineup, though, so both he and Renfrow should be expected to get some real usage from the slot.

Raiders fans have to be excited to see what Ruggs can do in year one, regardless of where he lines up.
