Photo of Curly Lambeau and 1919 Packers is Insane Throwback

No other NFL franchise has a history as rich as the Green Bay Packers'. From Curly Lambeau and Vince Lombardi to Bart Starr and Brett Favre, some of the most iconic players in NFL history have suited up in Green Bay.
That history is on full display in this incredible throwback picture, from 1919, of Lambeau and the Pack.

This picture was taken the very day the Packers franchise was founded, and it's crazy to think about the fact that nobody in the picture knew just how monumental that date would become.
The Packers didn't go on to play their first professional game until 1921, when the NFL debuted under the name of the "American Professional Football Association" (AFPA) before changing its name to the National Football League for the 1922 season.

Lambeau and his Packers finished that inaugural season with a 3-2-1 record, scoring just 7 touchdowns in their six games. Like the game of football itself, the Packers have come a long way from those humble beginnings.
