The Philadelphia Eagles are one of a couple NFL teams that could go a number of different ways with their first-round pick. They have a league-high 11 picks in the draft and a definite need at cornerback. There are still other holes to fill on defense, and additional needs at wide receiver and offensive line when Philadelphia is on the clock next Thursday night.

Those needs are represented in the odds posted on FanDuel Sportsbook regarding who the Eagles will take with the No. 12 pick. Three Alabama players top the odds board as favorites to be drafted by the Eagles with their first pick. Cornerback Patrick Surtain II (+300) and wide receivers DeVonta Smith (+430) and Jaylen Waddle (+430) are all top targets, along with South Carolina cornerback Jaycee Horn (+430).

Eagles First-Round Pick Odds

NFC East rival the Dallas Cowboys will likely select either Horn or Surtain when they pick at No. 10 and that will leave one of the talented CBs fo Philadelphia if they go that direction.

Also drafting right in front of the Eagles is the New York Giants at No. 11, who are expected to strongly consider WRs Smith or Waddle.

Smith won the Heisman Trophy in 2020 after racking up 1,856 yards on 117 catches and scoring 23 touchdowns. Smith may be a better route runner, but Waddle is also a dynamic 5-foot-10 wideout with a unique skill set. Waddle averaged an impressive 18.9 yards per reception during his college career despite dealing with a number of injuries.

Other contenders for the Eagles' first pick include Penn State linebacker Micah Parsons (+900), Michigan EDGE rusher Kwity Paye (+1000) and Northwestern offensive lineman Rashawn Slater (+1000).

USC offensive lineman Alijah Lewis Vera-Tucker (+1200), Virginia Tech tackle Christian Darrisaw (+1200), Oregon offensive lineman Penei Sewell (+1400), Virginia Tech cornerback Caleb Farley (+1400) and Miami defensive lineman Jaelan Phillips (+2200) round out the top 12 Eagles draftee hopefuls.
