While some of the major storylines of the NBA offseason have been about off-court issues, a little normalcy is just around the corner in the basketball world. The regular season is set to tip off on Tuesday, October 19.

With the season nearing, The Duel is giving you a look at how each division is shaking up. Here's a rundown of the betting odds and predictions for the Southeast Division, based on NBA betting lines from FanDuel Sportsbook.

Southeast Division Prediction 2021-22

The projection models on numberFire project the Atlanta Hawks to win the Southeast division with 48 wins. They are also projected for the best chance of winning the NBA Championship in the division, at 2.6%.

The remaining projections put the Miami Heat in second with 46 wins, the Washington Wizards in third with 40 wins, the Charlotte Hornets in fourth with 33 wins and the Orlando Magic in fifth with 25 wins.
