Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo added yet another accolade to his budding NBA résumé after winning the 2018-19 NBA MVP award on Monday night.

And the oddsmakers at FanDuel Sportsbook think Antetokounmpo's trophy case will need some more room come this time next year, labeling him as the initial favorite to win the 2019-20 NBA MVP award.

The Greek Freak opened as the betting favorite to win next year's NBA MVP with +350 odds on June 21, and already improved to +300, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, after winning the 2018-19 MVP last night. Of note, he also opened as the favorite this past season.

As for the players that could potentially stop Antetokounmpo's from winning back-to-back MVP awards, Golden State Warriors' point guard Stephen Curry (+410) and the Houston Rockets' James Harden (+600) are his top competition.

Harden finished with the second-most votes behind Antetokounmpo in the 2018-19 MVP race, after winning the award for the 2017-18 season. And with the way he scores the ball for Houston, we're likely to see Harden's name, along with Antetokounmpo's, sitting toward the top of these odds throughout next season.
