Most Likely Julio Jones Trade Destinations

Despite earning their first win of the 2020 NFL season in Week 6, the Atlanta Falcons are clearly not in playoff contention this year. And as a team that's not exactly loaded with young talent, that puts them in a tricky spot.
Apparently willing to commit to a rebuild with former head coach Dan Quinn and GM Thomas Dimitroff out of town, the Falcons are even rumored to be shopping franchise cornerstones like Matt Ryan and Julio Jones.

Though he's been banged up this year, Jones is one of the best receivers in the NFL when he's on the field, and plenty of teams will be interesting in acquiring his services. Here are the most likely trade destinations for the All-Pro wideout.
1. Green Bay Packers
Despite their dogged determination to add no new weapons to their offense this offseason, the Green Bay Packers could still decide to make a splash at the trade deadline. Aaron Rodgers is still playing some of the best football of his career (even though Davante Adams has been banged up), and adding Julio to the mix would instantly give the Packers one of the NFL's most dangerous passing attacks.
2. Indianapolis Colts
The Indianapolis Colts are in playoff contention at 4-2, even though two of their top four players in receptions are running backs Nyheim Hines and Jonathan Taylor. In fact, their top five wide receivers combined have accounted for just 60 targets (42.9% of the team's total). T.Y. Hilton is following his down year in 2019 with an even worse 2020 (40.3 yards per game, 6.5 yards per target), and Philip Rivers is really playing without any true No. 1 receiving option. If the Colts hope to keep up with teams like the Kansas City Chiefs and Baltimore Ravens in the postseason, they'll need to address that issue.
3. Philadelphia Eagles
Even with just one win through six weeks, the Philadelphia Eagles are still firmly in the NFC playoff hunt. Thanks to injuries plus a lack of depth, they also have one of the worst wide receiver groups in football. Travis Fulgham has stepped up in a big way, but Fulgham, Greg Ward, John Hightower and the oft-injured DeSean Jackson aren't striking fear into any defenses. They're also not giving Carson Wentz any help as he tries to lead this offense. The Eagles have the 10th most cap space in the NFL, and making a splash like adding Jones could go a long way to revitalizing this offense and winning the NFC East.
