Michigan Lands Major 5-Star Recruit Commitment

Even though the 2020 college football season in Ann Arbor wasn't exactly the one most Michigan Wolverine fans were expecting last year, the future of this historical football program just got that much brighter this week.

Thanks to the late addition of a major 5-Star recruit, cornerback Will Johnson, who has decided to keep his talents in the Wolverine State by officially committing to Michigan for his future collegiate career.

According to 247Sports.com, Johnson grades out at an incredible 0.9910 composite rating in addition to his 5-Star status, coming into Michigan as the No. 11 overall recruit in the entire country, No. 5 CB recruit and the No. 1 recruit in the whole state of Michigan from the Class of 2022.

With this commitment, Johnson also becomes the crowning achievement of this 2022 Michigan recruiting class as the lone 5-Star talent and highest-graded recruit.
